It’s funny. This blog must be popular enough to be spammed now. A few days ago I was looking at some ways to combat comment spam just in case. I chose and installed Spam Karma for the site. Then yesterday I get spammed heavily by a person trying to promote a drugs website. The great thing is Spam Karma caught every one of them and sent me an email telling me what happened. This was too easy. Thanks to dr dave such a great plugin.
Update: I think I found out why I started getting spam.
People in western states can get their free online credit reports beginning on Wednesday. This is something the government made the credit reporting agencies do through the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, passed last year. Just visit AnnualCreditReport.com to request or learn when you can get your free report. Too bad Texas residents can not ask for their reports until June 1, 2005. [Via News.com]
After getting my digital camera, I have been waiting to try it out. I have taken some photos and put them up on my new Flickr account. I don’t want to host them here because I don’t have that much bandwidth. You can see some of my early attempts with the camera.
Update: While searching the WordPress community, I found a great plugin called Flickr Gallery, to intergrate Flickr with this site. Cool 🙂
Why? If you do not patch the security exploits, you will get software installed on your computer without your permission. Don’t belive, check this out. Go to WindowsUpdate, get those patches, and start using Firefox.
