Google has been busy lately. They just launched Google Reader, which is a web based news aggregator. What is a news aggregator? It is a program that lets you read articles from a website in one central location. The news aggregator will pull the new articles for you to read once the article is posted. This is a great way to easily read pages or articles on the web without having to individually visit each site.
I have been using Bloglines as my news aggregator for awhile now and I have to say Google Reader is pretty slick. I can easily scan the over 60 feeds I subscribe to, reading the items I want. Also, I really like the keyboard shortcuts, which helps to move through all the articles quickly. I will be trying this for awhile and maybe soon I will be droping my Bloglines account.
