Or should I say Dream Team. Yes, we did not send our best to Athens. Yes, the international teams have gotten much better. Still, how can you lose 92-73 to a team that is not even in medal contention. It was terrible watching the game. Most of the players looked timid, shots didn’t go down, and Puerto Rico shut down Tim Duncan, the team’s best player. Everybody knew winning the gold would not be easy, but can we even medal?
Sidenote: It was great seeing the highlight of Manu Ginobili’s last second shot to help his Argentina team win their game over Serbia-Montenegro.
