I&#8217;ve had the CD sitting on my desk for over two weeks now. With a quick backup, just in case, I installed the service pack. Thirty minutes later, the pack was installed. A quick check to WindowsUpdate made sure I am up to date on patches. The main programs I use most often seem unaffected.  Although I have not tested all the 40+ programs I have installed on my computer.  My only problem is that the Security Center icon is always on the taskbar and my computer <em>feels<\/em> like it is starting up slower.
