I have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/details.aspx?FamilyID=049c9dbe-3b8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a&#038;DisplayLang=en\" title=\"Windows XP Service Pack 2 Network Installation Package for IT Professionals and Developers\">downloaded<\/a> it, but I would rather wait awhile before I install it. Why? Well the <a href=\"http:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/default.aspx?kbid=842242\" title=\"842242 - Some programs seem to stop working after you install Windows XP Service Pack 2\">list<\/a> of programs affected is growing. I&#8217;ll wait about month before installing. This will give time for the software vendors to update the software to work nicely with SP2.  Maybe I&#8217;ll wait until I get the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windowsxp\/downloads\/updates\/sp2\/cdorder\/en_us\/default.mspx\" title=\"Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD\">CD<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know the service pack has been out now for awhile.
