I don&#8217;t write frequently to this blog, yet spammers have been repeatedly trying to post their garbage on this site. I only know this since <a href=\"http:\/\/akismet.com\/\">Akismet<\/a> has caught 99.9% of the spam. The few that have got past went straight into moderation and I manually deleted them.<\/p>\n<p>Since I installed Akismet, it has stopped 337 spam messages. One hundred and thirty four of those messages have come in the last 15 days. That is 39.76% of my total spam messages. I guess the spammers have been busy with their zombie computers. Most of the messages have been focused on this one <a href=\"http:\/\/www.javiers.org\/blog\/archives\/2005\/02\/10\/vintage-arcade-games\/\">post<\/a>. I am closing commets on that post to see if the problem will go away.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What&#8217;s up with spammers lately?
