I guess all it took are virus writers using the rootkit to hide their payload. News.com has a nice <a href=\"http:\/\/news.com.com\/FAQ+Sonys+rootkit+CDs\/2100-1029_3-5946760.html?part=rss&#038;tag=5946760&#038;subj=news\"><abbr title=\"Frequently Asked Questions\">FAQ<\/abbr><\/a>, if you want to learn more about this problem.<br \/>\nThis is one of the reasons I don&#8217;t like buying CDs anymore. Record companies really restricting the music we buy. I am not a music pirate. I support artists that I love to hear. I also believe in fair use.  I want to easily move the music I buy from the CD to my iPod so I can take it anywhere. Yet with all of the <abbr title=\"Digital Rights Management\">DRM<\/abbr> in CDs now it is harder to rip music off the CD onto your computer. That is why I love buying songs from iTunes.
