The Google Blog is reporting that Google Maps has added Post-Katrina images of New Orleans taken Aug. 31. You can now zoom around and view the areas flooded with water.

Block Flash Pop-ups in Firefox
Slowly I have seen some sites get past Firefox‘s great pop-up blocker. I wonder how they did it, until I read that they use flash to spawn the new windows. You can create a new setting in Firefox to stop the pop-ups. Check out this article to find out how. Hat tip:Today @ PC World
Check out the Surface of the Moon

DRM Protected CDs
Luckly, I have not been bothered with a DRM protected CD when buying my music. Yet, with them getting used more on CDs I had to bookmark this article on how to sidestep the DRM. I wish music companies would stop hurting consumers by interfering our rights for fair use.
