Missing Music on Scrubs – The Complete First Season

I very happy when I got my copy of Scrubs – The Complete First Season . I, like many others, have been waiting for this for a long time. Scrubs is a great comedy that is much better than some of the other shows currently on right now. For the price, this DVD set is a great value. It has all of the shows, plus many great extras. The only problem is that many songs featured in the original television showings have been replaced on the DVD. I knew this when I bought the set because some the reviewers of the DVD said some of the music could not be licensed for the DVD and where replaced. They said the new music does a good job of trying to replace the music. If you are watching these episodes for the first time, it is ok.
The problem is one thing that makes Scrubs, Scrubs is the music. The music is chosen by the actors and staff specifically for each episode and sets the whole mood for the episode. Some great songs are missing. I first really recognized this on Episode 1.09 “My Day Off” when J.D. walks into the bar. Originally, “Hooch” by Everything was playing, but now is just some random background music. I find this perplexing since the song is on the official soundtrack. I also noticed Keren DeBerg’s songs are missing. She is a great artist that I never knew of until I heard her on Scrubs. After hearing her on Scrubs, I checked her out and quickly bought her CD.

Slowly I will be putting together songs I find that are missing from the set. With some help with of my old copies and Scrubs:MPONT this should happen. If you find a song just leave a comment and I will give you credit.
